    Lauren is the Senior Administrative Specialist for The Institute of Forensic Psychology. She attended DMACC, where she completed her 
    Certified Nursing Certificate, and began her career at a local hospital as a healthcare technician in the Emergency Crisis unit. There, she 
    worked closely with behavioral health patients, sparking a deep passion for the field. 
    Throughout her career, Lauren has collaborated with doctors, social workers, and psychologists to expand her clinical knowledge and 
    experience. She now works under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Frye, who continues to support her professional growth in the field of 
    forensic psychology. 

Alyssa Homeier

    Alyssa holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and brings a strong background in research and multimedia content development. She applies this experience in her role with IFP, working alongside the Senior Administrative Specialist and the broader administrative team. Alyssa supports a range of administrative functions, including processing records requests, data entry, and tracking or locating difficult-to-reach clients in need of evaluations or mental health services.

    Ryley holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in business. At IFP, she provides support to the administrative team as needed and primarily contributes to research and data-tracking initiatives. She brings strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a solid grounding in psychological principles. Ryley also assists in identifying personnel-related outcomes for internal tracking and in assessing the competencies that promote success at IFP.

    He has worked in the federal prison system, as a Psychology professor, and in private practice. He is a member of the Iowa Psychological 
    Association’s Ethics Committee and has published several dozen scientific articles on suicide and murder-suicide.
